about

THE AUTHOR

When she isn't writing, Nikay is an award-winning hairstylist and educator who has worked on celebrity sets and taught stylists for brands like Aveda and Balmain. She lives in Colorado with her husband and daughter.

THE COIN

Nikay James writes romantic thrillers steeped in secret societies, old bloodlines and oaths that refuse to stay buried. The Marrow Oath is her debut and the first Blood & Bone Oaths novel.

BEHIND THE CHAIR

Her fascination started with a single object: a Freemason coin she found among her mother's belongings. That coin led to years of reading about the Freemasons and the Illuminati, and eventually to the Bone Masonry Society, the hidden order at the heart of the series.
